How many Paranormal entertainers, psychics, tour groups, talent companies actually pay there taxes?

Oliver Wendell Holmes{-who is a US supreme court judge once said “Taxes are what we pay for civilized society.

If this is true, so what becomes of those that do escape the reality  of having to pay there own fare share of there taxes in any civilization then? the harsh reality in the paranormal entertainment world, has become a deplorable and offset of such a reality, but of the exact opposite.

With paranormal psychics,1800 call lines and paranormal ghost hunters collecting fees around the world today, how is it they escape the margins of not having to pay there taxes. The paranormal entertainment world is a multi billion dollar industry, so ask your selves why has the federal government  not tapped into this industry, like they have into every rationalized citizens?

After doing some careful research, we have found out that neither the IRS, nor any other source seems to want to police these types of people, again ask your self why not, after all your paying yours right?

I know this question may make you giggle but it was the best one I could think of in order for someone to help me fully understand the difference between earned income and a no tax benefit gift. If I tell you that I will give you a psychic reading in exchange for giving me an agreed upon gift ( say for example I tell you to just give me anything over a $100.00 whatever you see fit ) In the eyes of the IRS have I earned an income or have I received a gift?

Perhaps there are so many loopholes inside the system, that even the agency itself has no true recourse, at least it seems  that is what they want you to all think. Remember when the IRS went after Al Capone? They truly had resources back then.

A little more than 43% of U.S. households — or 70 million homes – will end up owing federal income taxes for 2017. …How many of these folks are surviving from Paranormal events and collective work around and associated by the paranormal? Again how many individuals are earning money from the paranormal and not reporting it?

With paranormal groups popping up all over the world and making money or profits, don’t you think the budget defecate, that your local politicians cream about could maybe even  be cleared. Just if proper agencies actually went and made these such groups pay there fare shares many things could change, including education, housing, the homeless, perhaps even welfare.

What has been seen inside the paranormal community, is one scam after another. A great majority of individuals name a talent company, start holding events, they book the money. They hold more events and pretty soon they begin collecting a pretty fare share of money and wealth, but if you do check? most often times the companies don’t exist, but yet they have a company on paper right?

So how is it the law will refuse to do anything to these people, where is the loop holes there? perhaps one of the greatest names associated with collecting money and of course not paying there taxes, is an individual  by the name of “RYAN DANIEL BUELL”

The longtime friend of a celebrity ghost hunter is speaking out about fans’ missing money.

A lot of former fans of Ryan Buell were angry that they paid for his lecture tour and never got refunds when it was canceled. One even traveled all the way from Denmark. One of the headliners for Buell’s tour said thousands of dollars are at stake.

Chip Coffey is a well-known psychic and medium who was once part of the cable TV series “Paranormal State” with Buell. Coffey, Buell’s friend, was scheduled to team up with the ghost hunter again for his “Conversations With The Dead Tour.” He said Buell and his team, the Paranormal Research Society based the Raleigh-Durham area, organized the tour and were in charge of all the details.

But it was so unorganized, he had to bail on the United States tour in April, just days before it was supposed to start. “Venues weren’t booked. Airline tickets weren’t booked,” Coffey said.

He said while he had no access to the ticket sales, he knows a lot were sold. “I know that the last accounting I had, with regards to ticket sales for the ‘Conversations with the Dead Tour,’ it was in excess of $80,000.”

That doesn’t include the tickets sold for the seven shows in Canada — all canceled.

Now that Buell canceled the U.S. and Canadian tours, Coffey said he doesn’t understand why ticket holders aren’t getting refunds.

“I’ve been accused of throwing Ryan under the bus. I didn’t throw Ryan under the bus, Ryan stepped in front of the bus and I jumped out of the way. Any smart business person would have done the same thing,” Coffey said.

While neither Buell nor his team has responded to our repeated requests for comment, on Buell’s Facebook page, he posted that health issues forced him to cancel the tour and that PayPal is responsible for ticket refunds.

However, just over the weekend it was posted on Buell’s page that they’re doing their very best to move the refund requests along.

As for Buell’s medical issues, Buell’s fans started out sympathetic after he canceled shows in 2012 claiming he was fighting pancreatic cancer.

Yet, when refunds weren’t given out, we started hearing from them.

In late 2013, when Buell announced he was ready to tour again, he started selling tickets for this year. But none of the shows happened and that’s why Coffey says he feels fans should get their money bac

There have been many  others, who continue to avoid paying there share of taxes, so the question will remain. When will they begin to enforce upon to them what millions have to face every single day?
